Are you stuck about where to take your summer vacation this year?
We certainly hope you’re already planning your escape. No, of course it’s not too early to think about these things!
Here are 8 reasons to pick a winery … that just so happens to double as an inn/B&B … that also just so happens to offer rustic relaxation. I might just I know of a place.
1. Rustic Relaxation
We’ve said it already. Your vacation time is worth its weight in gold – and then some. Don’t spend it stressed out, thinking about work and life’s many trials and tribulations.
This time is for you to unwind and let it all roll off your shoulders. Things move a little bit slower out here at the Inn at Deer Creek Winery. That’s just the nature of our rustic countryside retreat. We love it that way.
You will, too!
2. Getaway Specials
You don’t have to agonize over timing your summer vacation getaway perfectly. It doesn’t have to be on some ideal weekend or over a holiday.
Have you ever considered getting away on a random Wednesday? Avoid the crowds. Check out events only usually experienced by locals.
Cash in your vacation gold with midweek getaway specials or other packages to celebrate pretty much any other occasion. Everyone raves about the extra little perks:
- Flowers and chocolates in guest rooms upon arrival
- Special dinners
- Winery tours
- Bottling lessons
- & more!
3. Summer in Western PA
In our humble opinion, there’s no place more beautiful any time of year than Western PA. This truly is God’s country.
Summers are especially gorgeous. It’s the perfect time to lose yourself in the countryside:
- Take a walk
- Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of nature
There are all sorts of rural attractions, from Amish country to state parks and national forests, all within a short walk or drive from Deer Creek Winery. You never know what you might find.
4. Special Events
In our not-so-humble opinion, we’re pretty good at throwing a fine festival. We have Springfest and Fallfest, and we even tried out a nice Hawaiian luau last summer.
Maybe you like to keep it low key and simply attend a nice themed dinner every now and then. Or perhaps you enjoy a big party with lots of food, wine, and people. Check out our regularly updated events calendar to pick out something special to schedule your vacation around.
5. Evenings Around The Fire Pit
Sitting by a warm, crackling fire pit in the middle of summer might just be one of the greatest feelings on Earth. Add your sweetheart, some friends, sprinkle in some background music, and a bottle of wine, and you’ll never want the night to end.
6. It’s an Inn … It’s a Winery … It’s Both!
People travel from far and wide to visit wineries to savor their favorite wines and sample new ones. Summer is perfect for a winery trip with some of your closest friends. But it’s so sad when you have to go.
But do you really have to? Not if there’s an inn/B&B on the premises. What luck, we’re in the business of offering both wine and luxurious accommodations.
There are only a handful of places like us in all of Pennsylvania!
7. Live Entertainment
It’s every weekend, all weekend. We typically host at least 4 musical acts Fridays through Sundays all year-round. And they don’t disappoint, as we’ve successfully promoted dozens of the Clarion, PA area’s most talented musicians.
In summer, the live entertainment is even more special. Treat your ears to wonderful music in the warmth with a glass of wine under a starlit sky.
That doesn’t sound like work to me.
8. Finish the Night in a Hot Tub
Our long, exciting day does eventually have to come to an end. But our atmosphere of rustic relaxation has one more trick up its sleeve.
Stay in one of our guest rooms with a hot tub and slip into a heavenly bath of warmth and bubbles. It’ll relax your tense muscles and leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
So What Are You Waiting For?
