Breaking ground for our bed and breakfast in PA! The Inn at DCW

The work on The Inn at Deer Creek Winery, located in Shippenville Pennsylvania, has begun!  We are all so very excited! It has been a dream of the owners of DCW (Deer Creek Winery), Denis and Rhonda Brooks, for the last few decades.  We have been planning and re-planning the inn for at least the last 4 or 5 years. Vino’s Den, our current gathering room, and the 60’ eastern covered porch were put up as an extension to connect the winery to the inn. The floor plan of the inn was worked and changed and reworked.  Each room has been carefully looked over and planned… Hundreds — thousands — of hours have gone into the Inn already. It is a dream come true that it is finally coming to life!

The Inn (Bed and Breakfast) is attached to Deer Creek Winery in Shippenville, Pennsylvania.  It is near the Clarion, Oil City, and Franklin areas. It is located in the beautiful forests of western PA.

We finally broke ground a few weeks ago and this week the walls started going up! The setting around Deer Creek Winery is changing…and yet the rustic elegance is staying the same. We are working diligently to make the new Inn an extension of the winery and yet…so much more.

The Inn at DCW will have a Great Room with tables and couches in the front with a two-story deck overlooking the beautiful landscape. There will also be a conference room and a lobby. Then the 8 individual rooms are spread throughout the two stories. Each room will have its own charm and appeal — so get ready for eight unique, exceptional experiences!  The rooms are in varying levels — with fireplaces, balconies, and whirlpool tubs.  And don’t forget about the accompanying wine! Lodging in western PA just became that much better!
