This land has been enjoyed by our family for 5 generations – the youngest is just starting to walk.  The farm has been providing the finest raspberries for several years.  Our winery opened in September 2009, specializing in raspberry wines.

This is an exciting time for our family as we launch this new business.  It requires optimism to begin a new venture during a recession and a humble

evaluation of your strengths and weaknesses.  My strengths are rooted in faith and family, and in both of these I see bright hope.  I have also determined that my weaknesses all derive from fear.  The scriptures repeatedly encourage us to “fear not” and to move forward.  It is with this reassurance that we have taken this new life changing endeavor.  As a constant reminder, I have written on the walls of our show room the key phrases from Micah 6:8 “Do Justly”, “Love Mercy”, and “Walk Humbly”.  This serves as a constant reminder – I know I can follow my dreams and fear not.  I encourage you to do the same.

Now let me tell you about my family.  My wife since 1982, Rhonda, continues to be my unwavering encourager.  My children are James and his wife Marnie, Sarah and her husband Andrew, Seth, and Joanna.  Years ago I thought of them as the blessings of my youth, but as time passes, I know they are more than blessings; they are the reason I get up every morning and try to become a better man, a better husband, a better father.

Faith.  Family.  Follow your dreams. And Fear not.
